The Need for Innovative Ideas in Education

Tom Tancredo believes that now is the time to implement creative, innovative ideas for improving education. Rather than relying solely on increased federal funding, efforts must be made to return control, decision-making authority, and money back to the local level - back to the teachers, parents and school boards to whom we entrust our children as was originally intended in the United States Constitution.

 

Reducing the Tax Burden

On Friday, April 25th, Rep. Tancredo and Rep. Beauprez will host a special tax forum with honored guests Rep. John Linder (R-GA), a leading advocate to reform America 's complex tax code with the consumption tax, and flat tax advocate Scott Hodge, Executive Director of the Tax Foundation. Specifically, the discussion will debate the merits of the Flat Tax vs. Consumption Tax. The event will take place at the Lakewood City Council Chambers at 2:30PM Mountain time.
