Clearly the majority of the free press in this country has been compromised by their personal liberal worldviews. Laziness may explain some of this, but only a willing and determined desire to deceive can explain it all. The American press has been "reporting" on the Elian mess and the use of armed Federal agents, not law enforcement agents, to abduct this child. One egregious story is that these armed agents were only armed for their protection AND they even had the Safety ON on their weapons so as not to harm the child.
Other then the underreported story that law enforcement agents were allowed in the house twice on the Friday before the raid, that occurred at 5 a.m., and found NO weapons. This close-up clearly shows that the safety was OFF on this Storm Troopers weapon.
The Red Dot below the sideways "S" is a visual warning that this weapon is OFF SAFE.*(see explanation above and pictures below) You can see the outline of the safety indicator that has the "S" on its side. This switch when it is ON Safe covers the Red Dot and the "S" is not on its side, but is straight up. The Press is failing in it?s role to hold the government up to the scrutiny of the people, and the Federal government armed with that knowledge, and just plain armed, is becoming more arrogant and disdainful of our rights as Americans to be free from illegal search and seizure in our own homes. |
